Day 1: Addis Ababa – Flight to Mekele – Drive to Hamed Ela

• Early morning flight from Addis Ababa to Mekele.

• Meet your local guide and begin your 4×4 drive adventure into the Danakil Depression.

• Arrive in Hamed Ela, a remote desert outpost and your base for the night.
